Vocabulary cards work great for visual learning.
Designed for toddlers and preschool children, these cards will help to improve and learn vocabulary also boosting visual memory.
Vocabulary cards allow children to make associations. For language learning specifically we want them to associate an image with a word. When you show them both the images and they hear the words, they create links in their brains which help them identify that object or notion every time they see it.
A great present for children learning with our program or to start learning Spanish with a new Spanish friend, Nano!
Activitiy suggestions
Memory Tester
Win the card
- Place a selection of cards on the floor/table in a circle (start with 3 for younger children)
- Point to each card and say the word
- Point again so they can say the word, if it's correct they will win the card.
Memory
- place 3, 6 or 9 cards on 1, 2 or 3 lines
- Turn them around and ask the children ¿Dónde está …? mentioning one card if they find it they can leave the card turned to see the picture again.
Drilling activities
Invisible cards
- Place 3, 6 or 9 cards on the floor/table, draw or create a grid around them (paper lines is easier)
- Point to say the words. Repeat a couple of times with the children.
- Gradually remove the flash cards but continue to say the words in the same order and point to the grid where the flash card was.
- next round point to the space and see if the children remember what was on it.

This is a monthly subscription, so if you would like to cancel (I hope you won’t!), just send us an email and we will cancel your subscription straight away.

What will happen when I join?
Once you click on the button Join, you will be asked to enter your payment details. We use a paypal payment system, but you don’t need to have a paypal account to join us. Just enter your details and your payment will be set up.
Once you have made the payment, you will receive an email with the steps you need to follow to create your username and password … use these details to login!
